点评：Went to the Red Center to get a feel for Australian and First People's culture. That is what this area is all about....the First People (Aboriginal) culture right? We rented a car in Alice Springs and drove to the Red Center visited various sites.... all with Aborignal names and history. What was disappointing is ALL the park rangers and staff, in fact all the tourists and service personnel are white of European background.... and they are informing us of Aboriginal culture. That put a strange spin on the whole experience. We saw one person of First Nation heritage serving coffee at a cafe in a park. The only other First Nation people we saw were in Alice Springs....lots of miserable, poor people milling around the streets. There are all kinds of laws around alcohol in the parks with limits on purchases and only sold to tourists.... this is a strange approach to quelling alcoholisim amoungst the First Nation. Overall it was a long way to go to see a theme park, selling mugs and t-shirts with graffics of aboriginal art and parks just overall profitting on the back of an ancient culture.
翻译：我去了红土中心地带，想体验一下澳大利亚原住民的文化。这一地区恰恰就是以原住民文化为特色的吧？我们在爱丽斯泉租了一辆车，驾车游览了红土中心的多个景点……这些地方都有着与原住民相关的名称与历史。但令人失望的是，所有的公园管理员和工作人员，实际上所有游客以及服务人员都是具有欧洲血统的白人……却是由他们来向我们介绍原住民文化。这让整个体验变得有些怪异。我们看到一名有原住民血统的人在公园里的咖啡馆里端咖啡。我们见到的其他原住民则只在爱丽斯泉出现过……许多生活困苦、穷困潦倒的人在街头徘徊。公园里有各种关于酒精的法规，对购买量有所限制，而且只向游客出售……这种做法对于遏制原住民中的酗酒现象而言实在奇怪。总的来说，为了参观一个主题公园而长途跋涉，实在不值得。售卖印有原住民艺术图案的马克杯和T恤，完全是在利用古老文化来牟利。
