点评：The Melbourne Cricket Ground or MCG is the largest stadium in the southern hemisphere , with a capacity of 100,125, and one of the mst impressive stadiums in the world. It is really massive, and makes places like the Bernabeu and the Allianz Arena small in comparison. The guided tour is very much recommended : it lasts about 75 minutes and will show you the inside of the massive ground, the stands, the dressing and press rooms in the catacombs of the stadium, the luxurious club and banquet faciltiies for the members of the Melbourne Cricket Club (membership brings with it many privileges!!!), and VIP lounges. Our guide , a cricket aficionado, explained the cricket history of the MCG from the 1860s to the present day, quite fascinating. The MCG is also the venue where the most memorable "YNWA" (You'll never walk alone, the Liverpool FC anthem) was performed in 2013 during a friendly between Liverpool and Melbourne Victory. To hear YNWA at Anfield is amazing, but to hear 96000 sing the anthem at MCG is totally mindblowing.....
