Highly disappointing. Don’t waste your time or money.
波诺朗野生动物园的点评
点评：We visited Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in mid-March 2026 and, unfortunately, found the experience very disappointing. We only stopped in because bad weather prevented us from re-visiting Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary.
Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary had very few visible animals during our visit, and others on the tour were visibly and vocally disappointed. The tour guide was unable to show several key animals and frequently offered excuses rather than solutions. At one point, they mentioned not being able to enter the Tasmanian Devil enclosure because they weren’t wearing steel boots as they didn’t expect to provide a tour that day. The guide ended up showing photos of animals on a cracked, dirty phone screen. Overall, the experience felt very underwhelming, especially considering the $35.50 adult entry fee, which seemed excessive for what was on offer.
For anyone wanting a more rewarding and educational wildlife experience, we highly recommend Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary instead. They offer plenty of animals, free interactive tours, and a far more engaging and informative/educational experience.
We hope Bonorong takes this feedback on board to improve the visitor experience, as there’s real potential to provide something much more positive and educational.
