南岸公园的点评
点评：South Bank Parklands is one of those places where you can easily spend a whole day and still feel that you have not seen everything. It is not just a park — it is a beautiful riverside precinct where nature, city views, culture, food, walking paths and family-friendly attractions all come together.
I loved walking along Clem Jones Promenade, with the Brisbane River on one side and the city skyline on the other. It is a perfect place for a slow walk, especially if you do not want to rush and simply want to enjoy the atmosphere. The views are beautiful, the area feels lively but still relaxing, and there is always something interesting to see.
One of the highlights is, of course, Streets Beach — a man-made beach and lagoon right in the heart of the city. White sand, palm trees, warm water and skyline views make it such a unique Brisbane experience. On a hot day, it feels like the perfect escape.
South Bank also has lovely green lawns, shaded areas, gardens, playgrounds, picnic spots and free barbecue facilities. Families can spend hours here, especially near the Riverside Green Playground and Streets Beach. It is also a wonderful place to grab a coffee, pastry or lunch from one of the nearby cafés and restaurants.
I also enjoyed the iconic Arbour with its beautiful bougainvillea-covered steel columns. It gives South Bank a very distinctive and colourful character. If you enjoy culture, the Cultural Precinct is nearby, with QPAC, Queensland Museum, State Library, Queensland Art Gallery and GOMA all within easy reach.
South Bank Parklands is beautiful during the day, but it is also very special in the evening, when the lights of the city reflect on the river. It is one of the best places in Brisbane for walking, relaxing, swimming, eating, people-watching and simply enjoying the city.
A must-visit place in Brisbane — vibrant, scenic, family-friendly and full of life.
