点评:First trip to the new Glasshouse Theatre at QPAC to see The Last Ship.
The show was well presented although the vocals were a little hard to understand and the 'sub-titles' on the two screens (necessary due to sound problems ?) were too small for those further back to clearly read.
The designers of this theatre have gone for the Jet Star experience with the seating. There is even less leg room than normal so that when the inevitable people with seats in the middle of the row show up late everybody has to stand. There is (as usual) insufficient seating in the foyers. The toilet doors are extremely heavy to open and have a very badly designed handle making entry even more difficult. Did nobody check this out ?
The place looks great and cost an absolute mint but some of these simple design elements let it down.
