The Homestead的点评
点评：Upon check-in, our room had no working air conditioning and the temperature was 77 degrees. The bathroom shower had visible mold, and the humidity left the bathroom floor slick and slippery underfoot. Maintenance staff informed us that the unit’s internal temperature gauge was non-functional and the compressor had failed — a pre-existing issue that should have been identified and addressed before we were given the room. We were provided a window AC unit as a stopgap, but it was extremely loud, comparable to a freight train, and made for a poor night’s sleep.
On the dining side, The Audubon was disappointing, with small portions and food that felt undercooked or poorly prepared. The Jefferson was an improvement but still fell short of expectations, while Woody’s was the strongest of the three.
More broadly, the property no longer feels like the historic hotel we’ve come to know — it now has the atmosphere of a standard corporate Omni property. We’ve stayed at the Homestead several times over the past ten years, and this was unfortunately our least satisfying visit to date.
