点评:I so wish I could give the visit a wonderful review. Our family visited many times when our children were young. On a weekend mother/daughter trip the new decor was appealing to us. However the hot water system to the entire complex was down on 1/7 noon to 1/8 about 9 am for scheduled maintenance. No warning was given to guests and a “complementary market petit wine, small bag of popcorn, 2 chocolates were provided complementary due to inconvenience for which we were billed upon departure for about $58. Had the bill not been reviewed, it would have added insult to injury. The afternoon tea consisted of tea and one very small chocolate. What a change! But more concerning was that the Jefferson restaurant and tap room remained open and serving dinner. This is an egregious violation of State of Virginia code cooking/serving with no hot water. I was so disappointed on many levels as i had such very fond memories and really love the architecture and the wonderful staff many of whom have poured their lives into TheHomestead for generations.
The Omni needs to step up to the plate and do better.

Omni 需要挺身而出,做得更好。
