点评：Our group of 5 adults and 3 teens just returned from the Boundary Waters, and I can't say enough about the experience Piragis helped make possible. Only 2 of our 8 had ever been to the BWCA, so Tim's expertise in both trip planning and execution was absolutely invaluable. He and the entire team were outstanding from start to finish.
My family of 5 did full outfitting (minus food, which we handled ourselves), and every piece of equipment was top tier. To purchase gear of equal quality on our own would have cost 5 times what we paid for the outfitting package. I had real concerns about sleeping on the ground, but the sleep pads and sleeping bags were excellent and I slept great.
The BWCA itself is a magical, beautiful wilderness that I feel so lucky to have witnessed. If you have never been, it is worth every bit of the effort to get there.
I do want to highlight something that really put Piragis to the test. We had a canoe spill on Lake Two due to a strong crosswind on our way in. Two granite packs that Piragis had packed for us were in the lake with us for about 30 minutes while we worked to recover the situation. I was convinced we'd be unpacking soaked sleeping bags, pillows, and tents and facing a miserable week. Miraculously, almost no water got into the packs. The way those bags were packed gave me so much peace of mind once I realized everything was intact.
I have told everyone I've shared this trip with how seamless the experience was, and Piragis deserves a huge part of the credit. If I ever make it back to the BWCA, Piragis will be my first call. Thank you, Tim and team!
