A peaceful Gem in the Heart of North Yorkshire

点评：We recently spent a lovely afternoon at Ampleforth Abbey with my mum & my miniature dachshund, Wren, & it couldn’t have been a more enjoyable visit.
From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peace & beauty of the surroundings. The abbey and its grounds are impeccably maintained & best of all, they are free to explore, making it a wonderful place to really breathe & take in the stunning Yorkshire countryside. It’s also incredibly dog-friendly, so Wren thoroughly enjoyed exploring alongside us.
After our walk, we stopped at the Abbey Tea Room, where we enjoyed delicious coffee while taking in one of the best views in Yorkshire. Sitting outside, surrounded by the beautiful scenery, was the perfect way to round off our visit.
Whether you’re looking for a peaceful walk, somewhere to enjoy quality refreshments, or simply a chance to escape the hustle & bustle for a few hours, Ampleforth Abbey is well worth a visit. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed & already looking forward to returning.
