点评：l organised a conference for all protected landscapes in the north of England along with conservation organisations, landowners and lighting industry
professionals. We were there to collectively share best practice and to develop engagement messages for what good lighting looks like for human health and wellbeing, the natural world, education, culture, heritage and energy saving. Ampleforth is a Dark Skies Friendly community which is entirely in keeping with the tranquility of the venue and the retreats they run. The facilities were first rate. Lots of conference room options, very friendly and very efficient. Food was fantastic and the rooms and breakfasts were excellent. If you're looking for a tranquil picturesque setting for your group to focus or to unwind - or both, this is the place. Thanks to Catherine, Martha and the whole team for a wonderful two days. Five stars!
