点评：What a beautiful and enjoyable walk around the lake before our climb to Großer Arber! The trail starts and finishes right by the restaurant. It is about 2 km long and can easily be done in 30 minutes, but it would be a pity to rush.
The scenery is gorgeous, and the lake offers a unique view from every single angle.Expect to taky many pictures. The path is nearly flat and well-maintained, making it perfectly suitable for wheelchairs or prams. You will find several info boards along the way, though unfortunately, they are only in German. There are also plenty of benches to sit back and relax.
For an extra fee, you can rent a pedal boat to explore the water. However, you can only go around a certain part, as wooden logs block access to the middle of the lake to protect the unique floating islands of grass and moss.The trailhead for the hike up to Großer Arber is located right here as well. Parking is available right next to the lake and costs €4 per day. Highly recommended!
