点评:We do our early morning walk along the malecon around the marina, and there was lots of early Sunday morning activity with vendors busily setting up their booths. We came back when they opened and wandered through all the multi-varied assortment of vendors. There are many, many vendors with a great diversity of wares to sell, mostly verging toward higher end goods - no cheap souvenir T-shirts and ball caps, but instead some very nice items. In addition, there are a number of vendors selling baked goods and other tasty treats. And the very far end is like a food court with lots of varieties of takeaway food and drinks. There’s even a tequila vendor for those inclined to an adult beverage as you stroll along. Give yourself two or three hours to do a good job of seeing all there is to see. And…!Not far away in the town square is another marketplace, with lots more vendors that we were told are indigenous vendors, as compared to those on the malecon. They too have some very nice items for sale, as well as some tasty food items. Both markets run 9:00 - 2:00 Sundays.
