More than a Guide, But a Friend that made our Sri Lankan experience exceptional!

点评：We had an incredible experience with Ceylon Travel Lanka. Our trip to Sri Lanka was absolutely beautiful and what made it so memorable was our amazing guide Dilan.
On the very first day, he told us, “This is your holiday. Don’t worry about time, you just enjoy.” And he meant every single word. ❤️
One little incident perfectly captures the kind of person he is. One evening, we wanted to visit a restaurant and assumed we would have to arrange our own transportation since it wasn’t included in our package. But Dilan simply took us there, patiently waited until we finished our dinner, and dropped us back at our hotel. He didn’t have to do any of that, but he did it because he genuinely wanted us to have a wonderful holiday.
From the start he made us feel comfortable, looked after and put at ease. He is super friendly, caring and thoughtful. He was always making sure that we were having fun and he was looking after us. He genuinely cared about making us have a great experience.
What we loved most was his recommendations for food! He gave us some brilliant local recommendations and helped us get to know Sri Lanka beyond the typical tourist spots. His recommendations really helped to enhance our experience.
However, what made our hearts melt was how he went out of his way to organise a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. This made our beautiful holiday extra special. He was so thoughtful and it meant so much to us both. This is what makes someone stand out to you, and he went above and beyond to give us something we will never forget.
To top it off, on our last day we were given a beautiful photo collage of our trip! Such a lovely and thoughtful gift.
Thank you so much Dilan for being so kind, caring and giving us brilliant recommendations. We felt very personal due to his kind nature.
If you are planning a trip to Sri Lanka I would definitely recommend Ceylon Travel Lanka..! And if you have Dilan as your guide you are in great hands! He made sure we left Sri Lanka with happy hearts, beautiful memories and an appreciation for the country and it’s people.
