Defecation on grass verge

点评：On wedsneday 1st April 2026 my wife and 12 year old son stopped at Peterborough Services enroute to family down South.
My son used the toilet. On the way to the car he ran across a grass verge near the lorry parking section. To his and my wife's dismay, while crossing this grass verge, he unknowingly trod in human excrement. Presumably this excrement was due to lorry drivers emptying their bowels on this grass verge in a public place. This is a serious offence nd public health hazard. Presumably CCTV has captured the persons responsible for this putrid, unlawful act? Although in my experience businesses always all too conveniently just happen to lose CCTV evidence of criminal act.
As a result of this foul, criminal behaviour we had to buy my son a new pair of shoes. The ones he was wearing were brand new and had to be binned.
I am very angry that the management of Peterborough Services are allowing such disgusting, beastial, unlawful behaviour to take place on their public site. This gross behaviour meant we are out of pocket to the tune of £40 through no fault of my own. Moreover, the health of my son and wife was placed at risk by this unlawful, antisocial behaviour.
We are considering reporting this incident to Cambridgeshire police in the public interest.
Clearly the management of Peterborough Services need to get their act together by ensuring this grotesque defecation on it site is stopped immediately. Their failure to do so is placing members of the public, including children, at risk of serious illness.
I would advise anyone with children to avoid Peterborough Services like the plague.
