点评:Booked to see Paul Smith for my partners birthday in December. Us and 2 friends drove from Scotland to Liverpool for this. Realised the venue details on tickets was different from the website, there was no number to call so we decided best thing to do is take an Uber to the ticket address first, we found the venue on the tickets wasn't even finished being built yet. So we went to the venue address on website. Told at the time we wouldn't be allowed in until 20:30, fair enough, came back queued for ages then a doorman asked us if we were here to see Paul smith and asked if we were sure, asked us if we "promise you're not lying" like... what? We had our tickets and I think we know who we're there to see!
We got inside and another doorman who was rude AF told us you're not on the list your ticket dates were changed to April you should have got an email and if you didn't check your spam box (clearly he knew the score with this situation already) I checked my spam folder and sure enough 3 days before .. yes 3! A generic email with no sense of urgency or reason to think It was important had been sent with barely any info just saying the date wouldn't happen.
I have since spoken to others, this has been happening since before Christmas to numerous people. They say they've had issues with completing on the building construction but if that's the case why are they still selling tickets. They should be putting this on hold until the venue is officially complete. They keep bumping the date forward saying it'll be built by then. That's almost acceptable if you live in the same town but people are travelling all over for this and losing out financially. We will never be able to recoup the money we wasted and will definitely not be able to afford to travel down again for the proposed new date. Read other reviews and research company They seem very scammy to me. The contact I had with them when I complained was basically unbothered and they told me they can't help what folder an email goes in to so basically there's nothing they can do. No apology nothing.
