点评：Sometimes I’m convinced these people have never met a female captain before. They were nice, especially the brunette guy with the beard at the check-in counter. However, when me and my male friends were walking down to the dock, a guy who looks like he spends a lot of time at a desk all day (later found out he was the owner lol) said, “gentlemen, who’s driving?” I responded it was actually me, a woman, operating the boat. He gave me a high five. Anyways, the blond guy with the dreads got us set up on the boat but I felt a bit disrespected when he only looked at and addressed my male friend, who I added as a driver so he could bring us back to the dock after I had a few drinks. It’s frustrating in the big 2026 when I’m the most qualified person out of my group to operate the vessel but get treated as invisible. I booked the trip, planned the day, drove us to the sandbar, anchored, and tipped 20% but still didn’t get the respect I deserved from the crew simply because of who I am. Do better. This is my 3rd time renting here btw and it’s great each time, but I get ignored when they show us the safety features on the vessel in favor of my male friends.
