点评:Visited this place following large advert to see their Snowdrops. Arrived paid the £9 each ( extra £1 charged because we visited on a Sunday, this was not made clear till after our visit.
There were next to no Snowdrops and when we questioned the sales lady on this we were pointed to an A5 notice of there begin a poor display of Snowdrops, this notice was hided from obvious view in the box office and was not pointed out to us on arrival.
We were given no information, when asked the sales lady tried to sale us a book, which we did not buy, so her instruction to us was to go left or right as it didn’t matter. We did and within half an hour we were back at the beginning. We politely asked for a refund as there were nothing to see and areas had be blocked off from access, the sales lady could not assist and there was no one on site to address the problem, the best she could advise was to go to face book - we have never used face book so we sent an email to Mrs Botts as was advised. In the reply our complaints were not addressed.
We wrote a letter to Mrs Botts to have our complaints addressed, as she did not reply after two weeks I
rang and left a message but Mrs Botts did not return my phone call. Rang again and spoke with Spoke Mr Botts who thought the whole thing was hilarious and could stop laughing, but was able to advise me they were a bit of a mess.
I have today received a email to confirm I would not be given a refund as it’s not their policy .
As advised from Mr Botts I will now be contacting the trading standards office to ask them if this placed has behaved correctly in taking my money.
