点评：During the week I phoned and booked a table for 6 plus a baby. On our arrival they had no record of our booking. Unfortunately, they had a spare table for us, which now I wish they hadn’t.
The only plus side is the décor and setting is excellent.
I came here for lunch with a large group 3 years ago and the food was very good.
After a 20 minute wait my partner went to the bar and asked if someone could take our drinks order. Drinks were slow to arrive and after another 20 minutes we again went looking for a waiter to take our food order.
I ordered Pork Ribs (a favourite of mine). It looked good on the plate but the meat was so tough I could have done with a chain saw to cut it.
My partner had the risotto. The rice part of this dish was so gluggy and tastless it was inedible. She only had a spoonful and left the rest. I tried it and could barely swallow it. My son had the Pork Belly, which he described as “very ordinary”. His 2 boys had battered fish and chips – also lacking taste.
The bill for all of this, which included 3 pints of beer at $17.50/pint plus their mandatory markup on debit cards, was a total of around $350.
We’d be OK with this if the food was good but needless to say we will never return.
Go elsewhere.
