点评：We were here on a Thursday noon time, just before returning back to SG on an evening flight. It was Ueno that we are exploring with some lone-early cherry tree and the temple is just ahead.
We ascended some steps from the Ueno garden path to the raised platform. Here it is elevated vantage view overlooking some pine tree – called the pine tree of the moon, and also part of the Ueno Park. We read that many Locals came to the temple especially mothers (to-be) who pray to its deity Kosodate Kannon, protector of childbirth and child rearing. The premise includes some unique features like few Red lanterns,
I made a silent prayer (no clapping of hands allowed here, unique) at the small but packed Kannon Hall while wifey bought the temple stamp, and left after staying 20+ mins.
The temple is a 4-minute walk from the Shinobazu Exit. Alternatively it is a 3-min walk to Keisei Uneo Station
