点评:I had such a fun and informative lesson with Rita. Unfortunately I was late due to an incident with my taxi and had limited time before a flight to mumbai so I didn't get to do the market tour, but Rita was so lovely and understanding and I still had a wonderful time.
It was just me for the class so there was lots of time to chat and ask questions. We started off with a homemade chai and some Indian breakfast treats, then we started to make the dishes. I was offered 10 options of dishes to make, of which I could choose 5. I went for the rissois de camarao, butter paneer, Dal tadka and sheera for dessert. We made them all in unison with assistance from one of Rita's colleagues. I learnt new cooking techniques with every dish and they were all so much easier than I'd expected, yet full of mouthwatering flavour. The butter paneer especially was incredible.
The kitchen was very clean on arrival and remained so with regular cleaning throughout the class.
Rita herself was so lovely, warm and hospitable. When I started to feel too warm from the heat, she repositioned the fan next to me, and had her colleague make me a lovely coffee. She even gave me a beer to enjoy with the rissois de camarao when I sat down to eat, and packaged up the leftovers for me to take away. This made the class great value as it provided both lunch and dinner.
Overall, I'm so glad I squeezed in this class before heading home. I recommend it wholeheartedly!
