点评:Free guided tour by Darren who has done this for multiple years. A 3 hr walk through certain sections within the cemetery so he host several different walks. This visit was for #1 & #3. Waiting point was at a pavilion after the main gate. The cemetery was mainly for the Hokkien and Teochew dialect groups, which opened in early 1900 and stopped accepting burials in 1970s. You can also do the tour yourself as their as designated routes indicated at the pavilion area and QR codes to scan in those checkpoints. Of course with the guided tour it is more lively with the talks from the guides and bigger groups in case you are afraid to walk in the area. Met at 9am thus it was bright and sunny with a lot of shade thus it does not seem eerie at all. Were taught how to differentiate the 2 different group of graves, which is interesting and the culture behind the burials. A few of the more significant graves were pointed out, doctors, bankers, revolutionary, etc. Even there was one where people goes to get 4D numbers. It was very interesting! Will definitely come back for his other walks.
