点评:I did the 3 day 2 night Ausangate which is apparently one of them ore challenging in terms of terrain. Firstly, the booking team responded quickly to my emails when I was booking. My experience was atypical as the others in my group cancelled, so I was lucky enough to get a private tour! I had a great tour guide José and the chef Octavio and his sous-chef Euleterio were incredible as well as the horse driver.
They also provided extra blankets and hot water bottle without me asking because they expect people to underestimate how cold it gets at night (like -9 degrees Celsius) Basically you pay lots of money and they do everything for you including setting up the tent, treat you like a king and cook pretty impressive food. Be aware there is an expectation to tip per group.
I would say it is a moderately challenging hike, but definitely not hard to complete if you are fit and respect the altitude- there are a few climbs but not particularly long . (First day about 14kms total second day 8km with 2 big hills, last downhill, 4 or 5km)
Would recommend
