点评:It feels bad to give a poor review to any animal charity. When we arrived we were met by a lady who barely spoke, except to express her irritation when we tried to pay cash. Equally upset when we didn't have Mpesa the local e- currency. The official leaflet made reference only to cost.
Without a word of welcome we were then pointed to a YouTube video of colobus monkeys - which was offline. She then grudgingly signed for us to follow her on the "Tour". We saw 4 colobus monkeys in a tree and a variety of rusty cages that had seen better days. Like the whole setup they had seen better days. We visited the educational centre - however the local educator barely looked up from his laptop. Then followed a short walk through a small overgrown area that was " diani as it used to be" and we saw one small monkey. Then back to YouTube which had been fixed and lasted 10 minutes Tour over! this was perhaps the worst tour experience we have had ever.
I imagine the cause is a worthy one. Please do send a donation if you want but I wouldn't waste time visiting. A real shame.
