Spent a wonderful few hours at Waikiki Beach earlier today after my sunrise hike, and it was the perfect follow-up. Pure island bliss!
I’d already run from my hotel and tackled Diamond Head at dawn, so by the time I hit the sand I was nicely warmed up and ready to relax. This single gal in her mid-50s is absolutely loving this new chapter — claiming my spot, setting up my beach chair, and soaking it all in. There’s something so freeing (and fun) about it!
The beach was lively but not overwhelming. Soft golden sand between my toes, gentle waves, and that iconic view of Diamond Head rising in the distance with the Honolulu skyline sparkling behind it. Sailboats dotted the blue water while people swam and paddleboarded. I alternated between lounging in my white bikini, cooling off in the ocean, and just enjoying the moment with a big smile.
The weather today was ideal — bright sunshine with a light breeze that felt amazing on the skin, and that beautiful golden light that makes everything look its best. I could feel myself relaxing more with every minute.
The men in Hawaii are so friendly and helpful too — the aloha spirit really is next level and makes the whole experience even better. Little interactions here and there just add to the good vibes.
I love my long selfie stick — it always reaches exactly where I need it to and gets the job done perfectly for these shots. Never disappoints.
Waikiki Beach truly lives up to the hype. It’s beautiful, accessible, and the perfect mix of relaxation and energy. If you’re visiting Oahu, make time for this. Bring sunscreen, a good attitude, and enjoy every bit of it.

夏威夷的男人们也都非常友好热情——他们的阿罗哈精神真是令人叹服，让整个体验更加完美。偶尔的互动也增添了美好的氛围。
我爱我的长自拍杆——它总是能精准地够到我需要的位置，拍出完美的照片。它从不让我失望。
