Go Highlands Tours的点评
点评：Like other recent reports, we were stood up by Go Highlands Tours. I wish I had seen some of these reviews before booking them.
In mid February I contacted Joshua via email to set up a private personalized one-day tour of Panama City. I was sent an invoice on February 17 for $125 per person which felt a little steep but was promised optional biking experience with bicycles safety gear and drone shots provided. It sounded perfect! One thing that felt weird at the time was that the invoice was #1000. It seemed too clean a number to be a real invoicing system and the footer on the printout does indeed say it came from bookipi, a free invoicing app.
I didn’t hear anything further as our tour date Sunday March 29 approached. On the 28h I sent both an email and a WhatsApp. The WhatsApp confirmed our tour and pickup time at 9 am.
On the morning of the 29th, I awoke to a 6:30 am message saying that due to a “loss” our tour guide “won’t be in the best condition to personally attend your tour today” offering a different guide at 1 pm, a reschedule for the next day (we were already leaving by then), or a refund.
2.5 days later my response message has never been read, even though Go Highlands has been active on WhatsApp since. I emailed as well asking for a refund with no response.
Thankfully Chris from Chris Panamá Experience was available through this site at short notice, and we had a great day touring Panama on Sunday. He was less expensive as a bonus. Definitely recommend Chris.
