Lovely experience if you’re on your way.
Valley of the Butterflies的点评
点评：I rated a 3/5 because it was on the way to Old Town for us, and it was a nice thing to go to together as a couple.
The butterflies are there in their hundreds of thousands!!! Most of them sleeping hidden on the side of the rocks, occasionally fluttering around to move.
The biggest shock and most memorable thing were the amount of crabs there were! It’s fun to count the crabs as you go around. They are so active!
The experience is split into two and there is a cute restaurant on the bottom trail over the road.
The trail is very up hill/ steep therefore some may struggle. Parking is tricky if you don’t get there before 12 ish, although there’s a lovely man there to help direct you in the car park.
Me and my partner did this experience after the seven waterfalls experience which we personally believed gave us a better experience. Although the butterflies and little streams here are stunning!
Another downside is the toilets which you have to pay for - with cash! So bring euros in cash! The woman can swap notes for coins outside the toilets in case you need to change your change.
Overall it’s a lovely experience if you are on your way!
