The Spa at The Johnstown Estate的点评
点评：Stayed here two years ago and had a wonderful two days. My wife then got a one night stay for two for a birthday present and we went last weekend. We had a pleasant stay however standards have slipped and we didn’t feel we got a 5 star experience. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was very busy for sunday lunches. We arrived at 3 and as you cant check in until 4 and the room wasn’t ready (4pm is normal check in time) we decided to go to the bar. The bar was busy, mainly with non residents in for Sunday dinner. But there is plenty of seating in the bar so we got to sit down. However i was left standing at the bar waiting to be served for some time. This despite the fact there was at least 5 staff behind the bar, but they were all serving the table staff. I get they are busy and in the defence of the bar staff they were all very young and they probably lacked a bar manager to tell one to serve people waiting. The staff were very nice but the bar was poorly ran when it was busy. Then when we checked in all staff were foreign, not one Irish accent in the hotel reception among 6 staff. Again the staff were friendly and nice but as an irish hotel it lacked the Céad Míle Fáilte (welcome) you should get in an Irish hotel. The room was nice however the flush on the toilet wasn’t working correctly and as we had to wait for our room, that should have been checked before we were called to check inn. Probably nit picking i know but it is an expensive night away and standards shouldn’t be slipping.
翻译：两年前曾入住过这家酒店，度过了美好的两天。后来我妻子收到了一份生日礼物——两人入住一晚，我们上周末又去了一次。这次入住体验还算愉快，但是酒店的品质似乎有所下降，我们感觉没有达到五星级的标准。我们周日下午办理入住，当时正值周日午餐高峰期，酒店非常繁忙。我们下午3点到达，但4点才能办理入住，而房间还没准备好（下午4点是正常的入住时间），所以我们决定去酒吧。酒吧里人很多，主要是来吃周日晚餐的非住客。不过酒吧里有很多座位，所以我们找到了座位。然而，我在吧台站了很久才有人来招呼我。尽管吧台后面至少有5名服务员，但他们都在忙着服务餐桌上的客人。我知道他们很忙，而且平心而论，酒吧的服务员都很年轻，可能缺少一位酒吧经理来指挥他们先服务等候的客人。服务员都很友善，但是酒吧在繁忙时段的管理实在太糟糕了。办理入住时，所有员工都是外国人，酒店前台六名员工中竟然没有一个说爱尔兰口音。员工们都很友好热情，但作为一家爱尔兰酒店，却缺少了爱尔兰酒店应有的“Céad Míle Fáilte”（热情欢迎）。房间不错，但是马桶冲水有问题，而且我们还得等房间准备好，所以这个问题应该在叫我们办理入住前就检查清楚。我知道这可能是吹毛求疵，但这毕竟是一晚价格不菲的住宿，服务标准不应该降低。
