点评:The Andaman Islands are undeniably beautiful — crystal-clear water, stunning colors, incredible natural landscapes. On paper, this place is paradise.
However, the reality is far more complicated.
More than half of the beaches I visited were heavily polluted with plastic waste and garbage. Bottles, packaging, plastic debris — in some areas it was shocking. The contrast between the beauty of the sea and the amount of trash on the shore is honestly heartbreaking.
What is most disappointing is that many resorts and tour operators seem to clean only the small portion of beach directly in front of their property, leaving the rest of the coastline neglected. Environmental care appears fragmented and inconsistent.
Sustainable tourism requires collective responsibility. Without proper waste management and awareness, the natural beauty of these islands is at serious risk.
I truly hope local authorities and tourism operators take this issue seriously, because this place deserves much better.
