A Truly Unforgettable Trip to Sri Lanka – Thanks to Lee and Gesha Tours!

点评：Joining our friends for a holiday in Sri Lanka turned out to be one of the best choices we’ve made, and having Lee from Gesha Tours looking after us made the whole trip even better. From the very first message, he really listened to what we were hoping to do and put together an itinerary that suited us perfectly. Throughout the trip he kept in touch, checked how we were feeling, and didn’t hesitate to adjust plans when the weather—or even landslides—got in the way.
We’d never met Lee before we landed in Colombo, but he welcomed us like old friends, complete with beautiful flower garlands, and whisked us straight off to our first stop. From then on, he kept us up to date with each day’s plan, made sure we were always comfortable, and never let us run out of water on the road.
The safaris were a real standout. We saw so many elephants, and—something we’ll be talking about for years—we spotted leopards on three different occasions. Lee also helped us with local shopping so we didn’t get overcharged, and he took us to some lovely family-run restaurants where we had some of the best Sri Lankan food of the trip.
Lee’s knowledge, sense of humour, and constant good mood made every day easy and enjoyable. He’s also an incredibly safe driver (there’s no way I’d attempt driving in Sri Lanka!), and by the end, it genuinely felt like we were travelling with a friend.
Sri Lanka is such a gorgeous country with some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and our trip was unforgettable. We’ll definitely be going back—and when we do, we’ll be booking with Lee at Gesha Tours again, no question.
