点评：Las Tintoreas is a collection of islands made up of lava rocks just off the coast of Isla Isabella and are easily accessed with tours from Puerto Villamil. I experienced this area on 2 different tours when visiting Isabella. The first was a kayaking tour and the second was a snorkeling tour that also included a short hike on one of the islands. While Tintoreas is a very scenic spot, I was left a bit disappointed by the lack of wildlife that was seen. While there were some sea lions, a few marine iguanas and a collection of blue footed boobies on one of the rocks, no sharks were seen and most disappointingly, no penguins were found. This was early February and usually penguins have returned by then but for unclear reasons, they had not migrated back yet. My wildlife encounters were much more abundant is many other locations on Isabella and throughout the Galapagos.
