点评：I’m sure the blue pool is a lovely destination when you haven’t had two months with no rain, the pool felt like it was sitting in a little dust pool of its own. The lake is very pretty I found some of the paths very challenging having mild arthritis as I do. There were lots of trip hazards, stumps from old posts sticking up randomly which nearly caught me out once. The little enchanted door walk was very sweet and certainly entertaining for the kids. The tea rooms were lovely. I found the food slightly overpriced for what it was, a sandwich had a very limp bit of salad on the side with half a cherry tomato and one slice of cucumber so also not overly generous. I guess my main beef is the toilet block, there’s a photo in the ladies that says it’s twined with one in Malawi, I’d suggest it’s almost a similar standard. They all could do with a deep clean the toilet bowls themselves are like children’s ones they’re so far away from an adult I found that a bit tricky too, but overall I believe they need a bit of refurbishment. It was a nice enough day out and a catch up with friends, would I go again? Probably not.
