点评：Thrilled to find the one-night private use of the narrowboat which was skippered and catered. We felt we had missed the chance to do this alone and did not want to do it with fellow passengers who were strangers to us.
The trip was on my birthday and I was given an amazing and relevant birthday card.
Like other reviews, the food was amazing but we would add that the bed was very comfortable and the shower was more powerful than we had expected.
We really enjoyed opening and closing the locks at Foxton. It was much easier than we had expected.
Everyone on other vessels and the towpath were so friendly. Lots of dogs to pet at Foxton so we could have dealt more quickly with the locks!
Ian was super and we were lucky enough to meet his wife and Dad.
We have nothing anywhere near negative to say about our trip. It was very relaxing and we saw so much countryside, farm animals and wildlife. Stephen skippered the boat for a while, which he loved doing.
We wish every success to Ian and thank him for the very high standard and deliciousness of the food served.
The whole trip was a real treat. Excellent for those who want a relaxing time with excellent food served, together with some time alone in a well fitted narrowboat with snacks and drinks.
