点评：I’ve seen this place on social media many times, but never ventured to visit. Well this week my husband and I did, and so so glad we did.
It’s a magical hidden place off the beaten track, set in the most delightful well maintained gardens. There’s a woodland walk, a valley walk, a courtyard area to eat and drink, and an inside dining area if you prefer. No admittance fees.
We had lunch there and it was well presented, expertly cooked and tasted divine. Even if you just wanted tea/coffee and cake, the display cabinet is very inviting.
The staff are very attentive and friendly, most accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.
Both the dining areas are wheelchair friendly, the walks and the gardens would be challenging. Those with walking aids could manage given plenty of time to explore.
I can see why they hold weddings and party functions it’s so breath taking. They have accommodation there too, which would be ideal if you attend their BBQ events.
I wish I had visited sooner, but I plan to return and recommend to friends and family. Booking a table would be wise, as we visited on a Thursday and it was busy.
