点评：What should have been a lively concert full of music and genuine audience connection turned into a self-indulgent display of ego and nostalgia. Instead of performing, the band spent far too much time bragging about the famous people they’d once met or played with, turning the evening into a dull show-and-tell session. The repeated “in memory of” tributes—to people who had passed away decades ago—only added to the sense that this act is hopelessly stuck in the past.
While there were a few mildly amusing skits, the endless talking completely overshadowed the actual music. Larry, clearly under orders to spotlight his attention-seeking wife working the merch table, only made things worse. Her curt attitude didn’t help the band’s already sinking impression. To top it off, the group constantly barked instructions at the audience—stand up, sit down, clap, sing—and even scolded people who didn’t.
Overall, this performance felt more like a desperate cry for relevance than a concert. It’s painfully clear that this band has long outlived its charm and should seriously consider hanging up their instruments for good.
