点评:This is a new modern distillery making the single malts of the future. Excellent tour with Mark who was very knowledgeable with years of whisky industry experience. Tour starts with the pioneering history of the company and industry and where the industry of headed in the future. Then onto the slick and modern but traditional production area, where you can see the process in action with a great backdrop of the Cairngorms. Then onto a very informative presentation of the maturation process and how the end product is achieved. Then the sampling, trying 3 different aged whiskys, and the effects on flavours. Finally, (package dependant) we where shown to the restaurant, which was lovely and had an delicious set (tapas style) lunch. I would've been rude not to purchase 3 bottles of whisky on the way out.
