Daily fishing experience at Crocodile Bay

Diego is the Director of Fishing at the resort and a great asset. He communicated promptly via email about a month before we visited when I had a question. We met briefly on the day before our first charter and he detailed what to expect. He was at the dock mornings and afternoons, helping with communication and any issues that might arise.
Note - during our stay in April, we met at the dock at 6:15a. Breakfast is available at 5:30 and it's a 10 minute walk to the dock. We had the same crew (captain & mate) each day and they communicated fairly well, although English is not their first language. We fished off the 33' Striker boats and they are roomy, even for 4 fishers. There is a very small head onboard, but the captain will stop the boat for a brief splash in the water for relief. Usually the decision to go offshore/inshore is made at the dock.
Virtually all fishing was done while trolling, using live bait. The offshore bite was good, and after 5 tuna we switched to sailfish/marlin. We had great luck with sailfish on that particular day (Apr), but fishing inshore was slow. Other guests caught dorado offshore.
Note- the ride to many fishing locations takes 90 minutes to 2 hours.
