Warm, welcoming and delightful. The chocolates were great too. Go if you're ever in York!
约克巧克力工厂的点评
点评：First off, I made a mistake and booked the tour on the wrong date 😓 but Rowan at the desk was utterly kind; helping to check with their manager if we could get bumped up to the next available timing without having to forfeit our paid tickets 😍
Secondly, Tyler, our tour guide, was welcoming and thorough as we were guided through the magical history of chocolates in York (they did not start off in York though! Leaving it at that to avoid any spoilers) We had a cosy group of 6 and Tyler made sure we were well taken care off, juggling being informative and entertaining altogether.
Finally, Owen, our chocolatier, was very entertaining. Owen put on a good show, walking us through what goes behind the scene in the kitchen (mostly scraping tbh ;p ), and feeding us some really good chocolates.
Throughout the tour, we were exposed to various types of chocolates, in many forms, and given a background on the evolution of chocolates. The tour itself took 60 minutes and was sufficiently paced.
10/10 would recommend if you're in York!
