点评：An absolutely brilliant birding trip.
I was in The Gambia for 9 days and spent most of the time with Bax (Bakary Manneh). I found the amazing Bax at the Gambian Birders HQ at Kotu Bridge. I was first impressed by the way he was identifying birds in flight while it was still dark. Together we visited most of Gambia's birding hotspots and Bax managed to find most of the local specialties. He was also very patient and painstakingly made sure I properly SAW each bird and toom pains to know what I wanted from his guiding. I hugely recommend Bax for experienced birders or beginners alike.
Also Bakotu hotel, just a 2 minute walk from Kotu Bridge was also excellent. Food and rooms were great and the staff were without exception friendly helpful and cheerful.
The hotel grounds also had many spectacular birds, you could have an amazing birding trip without ever setting foot outside!
