5* Terrific New Beer Garden - go when there's music on the decking!!

点评：We've been coming to Higher Harlyn for 4 years now, and Bar Harlyn has grown and got better every year! The cocktails are creative and delicious, the wine menu is extensive (in the best way) and fantastic value for money, the live music is always by local artists from Cornwall but only the absolute best ones, and the new beer garden just made it even better as they now have huge bands out on the decking into the evenings!
The staff have always been very well chosen and trained -very urbane yet astute in reading the customer and tailoring their service- and this year they all have their own recommendations on the cocktail menu (We tried Katie's, Rosie's, Daisy-Mae's, William's, Max's, and 2 of Duncan's and they were all better than everything we had at the Pig Hotel later that evening!!! Definitely recommend the Berry Whiskey Sour and Daisy-Mae!)
Hats of to Duncan and the team, we've loved every minute at Bar Harlyn and can't wait to see what will come next year!
