点评：We spent a little over two weeks traveling around the whole country of Portugal. We hired Jose Right (Portugal by Heart) as our private guide (four of us). We were very impressed with the service he (and his son) have provided to us when he took us to Douro wine tasting, Porto city walking, Lisbon/Sintra, Guimaraes/Geres, Aveiro/Coimbra, Tomar/Nazare/Evora/Monsaraz.
What we enjoyed the most…his in-depth knowledge of the country’s history, cultura, people, places and food. He gave us many recommendations of the things to do, places to visit and restaurants to try. They were all great, nice location (away from the busy tourist spots), moderately priced, and of course great food, ranging from traditional Portuguese cuisine to seafoods.
He was very communicative with us to make sure we are on the same page at all times so that we know what to expect. He promised and He delivered. My wife was somewhat physically challenged, but our guide was very accommodating to allow her to enjoy her time while the rest of us can do/see things to meet our high expectations out of the tour.
My brother-in-law was very impressed with his driving skills.
We have used the private guides in our past trip to different countries, but he is bar none. We enjoyed his good sense of humor and his seseof pride in his country.
