A beautiful Park! I wish we had spent more time there..

点评：We drove about an hour from our accommodations in Manuel Antonio to Uvita, and Parque Nacional Marino Ballena. We booked a whale watching tour even though it was the end of the migrating season. We were given life jackets, then had to place electronics etc in a dry bag, and walk in the ocean to our small boat. Not what i was expecting, and i did get wet, so i'm glad i was wearing my Columbia dri fit skort and my bathing suit underneath. I was also glad i had my Keens water sandals on. My husband enjoyed the boat tour. Even though i'm glad we did it, since we were able to see Marino Ballena from the water, and see the whale's tail, i became a bit sea sick and thought i would throw up any minute. But i didn't. The highlight of the boat tour for me was not the 2 whales that we saw from a distance, but the sea birds on the little island, and the rock formations. They dropped us off at the whale's tail, but the rest of the group were going to jump in and swim a bit before going back to shore. We walked the whale's tail and enjoyed the stunning views of the park. We also saw red macaws in the trees. We left to visit Catarata Uvita, but I wish we had spent more time in Marino Ballena instead. Next time!
