Only as a last resort for gas

点评：First off, it is my fault I had to stop here. Heading home from Las Vegas to SoCal on July 4th, I forgot to get gas before leaving the city. When I realized it, I was already halfway to Jean. I knew I would get reamed with the gas prices, but since I only needed half a tank, I decided to suck it up.
Good points:
Enough pumps (96 I think?) so there shouldn't be any waiting.
Bathrooms are very clean and large, so shouldn't be any waiting there either.
A White Castle (at 8:30am, it was too early for me)
A Mahogany Smoked Meats counter. If this is the same as in Bishop, CA. awesome jerky.
Friendly staff
Not-so-good points:
Gas prices horribly ridiculous. $5.39 per gallon as of 7/4/23. About 70 cents higher than in Vegas and 30 cents higher than in SoCal.
Snacks & drinks high priced as well. Chose not to purchase anything.
All things being equal, there really isn't any reason for me to stop here again.
