An Unforgettable Safari Adventure in Tanzania

点评：Our safari trip to Tanzania was amazing. Since it was the low season, the parks were not crowded at all. We were incredibly lucky—nature was definitely on our side! A week earlier, there had been heavy rain, which left the savannah beautifully green. Thanks to Donatus, our experience was top-notch from start to finish.
It all began with a thorough introduction. Donatus asked the right questions to understand our interests and took time to observe both us adults and our 15-year-old son to see what fascinated us most. Our son was especially eager to see a lion, a cheetah, and a leopard. Thanks to Donatus’s extensive experience as a guide in places like the Serengeti, Tarangire, and the Ngorongoro Crater, we visited unique locations where we saw the best-known animals and even the Big Five.
Already on the first day in the Serengeti, we were lucky enough to spot three cheetahs basking in the sun. Waking up early to witness the splendor was absolutely worth it. The lodges we stayed in—including one luxurious tent in the Serengeti—made the entire experience even more special.
I didn’t have a bucket list before this, but thanks to this trip and especially Donatus’s guidance, I was able to check one off—and it has ignited my love for Africa. Because of this wonderful experience, both the encounters and the breathtaking landscapes, I definitely want to return to the Serengeti. Next time, I’d like to add an extra day instead of doing a half-day, full-day, and half-day itinerary—just to fully relax and soak in the surroundings stress-free. Big thank you to Donatus. Hakuna matata!
