点评：Have always felt that pandas are my spirit animal. And a visit to Al Khor, about 30 miles outside Doha reaffirmed my belief.
The Panda House is an impressive and ecological piece of architecture. The building is climate controlled for a cooler environment to ensure our furry friends are comfortable. Its advisable to bring a light jacket or jumper as you may need it.
You can't buy tickets at the door, it has to be done on a govt app called Oun. Took me a little while to navigate as I couldn't get past the details it wanted, like a Qatari resident ID number. But then I realised you ignore that request and just click on the link for Panda House at the bottom of the screen. The tickets cost 50 QAR, approx £10 for an adult. There was a family in front of us who didn't have tickets and were asked to scan a QAR code at the entrance which I think takes you to the Oun App.
The 2 pandas look in very good health and are definitely worth visiting. We only stayed about 90 mins which was enough time for us to see Suhail enjoy his brunch before wandering about his enclosure, whilst Thuraya spent the entire time sleeping. That's why they're my spirit animal - eating and sleeping!
It was very quiet during our visit, just a handful of families, which made it easier to observe our friends more closely for long periods. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
