点评：Monday 19th January we walked around sightseeing and exploring the narrow cobbled streets of Vegueta the oldest neighbourhood in Las Palmas.
The streets are home to colonial architecture buildings from the 15th century, which includes the likes of the museum, Casa de Colón (House of Columbus).
The pedestrianised streets are filled with so many interesting features including buildings, statues, sculptures and fountains. There is something of interest along every street and corner.
Our exploration took us along the historic cobbled streets through Plaza del Pilar Nuevo, Plaza de los Balcones, up to Plaza Santa Ana, reviewed separately, where the Cathedral is located.
The Cathedral stands alongside beautiful buildings in the the Plaza including the impressive Town Hall. Nearby are the 8 bronze statues of the dogs guarding the Plaza.
We did visit the Cathedral and it's tower from where there were panoramic views.
