The best sunrise of my life and a dream jump! 🪂
迪拜天空跳伞之旅的点评
点评：It was my first skydive, and I'm absolutely thrilled that I chose to do it in Dubai over the Palm Jumeirah! We flew on August 8, 2026, at 5:15 AM. I'll be honest – the time was a bit of a gamble (more on that below), but the views from above of the sleeping city and the awakening bay were simply unbelievable.
I want to give a special shout‑out to the Skydive Dubai team. I came from another country and don't speak English very confidently, but I never felt a language barrier at all! The instructors and staff explained everything in simple words, used gestures, and showed things clearly – I understood everything from the first go. That took away 90% of my pre‑jump fear.
Also, before my trip, I emailed them from my home country – they replied to every question without any trouble, guided me through each step, and gave plenty of advice. Unfortunately, I couldn't pay in advance (it wasn't available in my country), but on site everything was sorted out quickly and easily.
Huge thanks to my tandem partner Laura and camera operator Peter! These guys are true professionals and such warm‑hearted people. They supported me before the jump, joked around, and created such a relaxed atmosphere that I forgot all about my nerves. Peter captured angles that make the video look like a Hollywood blockbuster, and Laura made the freefall feel comfortable and completely safe.
I also want to mention the vibe inside the plane during the climb. It was incredibly atmospheric – we all sat close to each other, gave fist bumps, patted each other on the shoulders, and cheered one another on. I was amazed that people from so many different countries – including me – came together like that before the jump! Almost no one seemed scared – just excited and pumped. And the views from above of the Palm Jumeirah were spectacular – the city was waking up beneath us, and it was mesmerising.
The actual jump went by really fast. I left the plane and breathing felt a bit heavy (my ears didn't pop), which was obviously due to the high speed. The most important thing is to keep smiling and look at the camera so you get those epic shots. After that comes the calm canopy ride – you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, speed up, slow down, and even steer a little (they let me try controlling the parachute – it was so cool!).
I came with my relatives, and they were comfortably seated inside the centre. While I was getting ready and going through the briefing, they waited in the lounge area. When it was time for my jump, there was a separate outdoor viewing deck where they could watch skydivers descend and land. My family recorded videos and cheered for me in real time – it was amazing to have them there.
A few important tips for first‑timers:
1. Booking and payment: We arrived in Dubai on August 1 (in the middle of scorching heat), but slots still sell out like crazy! The earliest available was only on the 8th. We paid on site in cash (dirhams) – no issues at all. The price was 2,499 dirhams, which is absolutely fair for this level of emotion and service.
2. Jump time: Don't book the very first slot like I did. In August at 5:15 AM, the humidity is brutal and the sky looks hazy. BUT – the sunrise saved everything – the colours were so soft and golden, like a painting. If you want clear blue skies and crisp photos, go for a later time.
3. Actual duration: The website says the whole experience takes 3–4 hours. But since I had the earliest slot, it took less than an hour! From filling in the form to landing and walking out of the centre, about 60 minutes passed. Everything was quick, smooth, and no unnecessary waiting.
4. Photos & video: They promise delivery within 48–72 hours, but mine took a full week. I emailed them – they replied politely and asked me to wait. The delay was a bit disappointing, but when I finally saw the edit – I take it all back!
Final verdict: The video and photos are stunning – slow‑mo, angles, my reactions – everything is made with heart. Thank you, Skydive Dubai, Laura, Peter, and the whole team for this priceless experience! I highly recommend it to everyone – don't be afraid!❤️
