点评：Our main goal when visiting this national park was climbing to the top of Doi Pha Hom Pok (Huamereng on Google Maps). I did some research beforehand and it seemed like the rangers don’t allow tourists to take a motorbike or car up the Kiew Lom Campground from where the trail starts. We first went to the park entrance at the hot springs and they, quite rudely, told Us we would have to charter a 4x4 truck to bring us to the top. We then went to the entrance at the Huai Bon Reservoir along Rd 3037 (through which all vehicles that want to got the campground have to go) and the rangers there were incredibly friendly, took a look at our bikes (ADV 160 and NMAX 155) and told us these were fine. We had to pay the fee for entrance with a bike and were free to enter. The road up is in good condition but has a lot of curves. The main hazard are the pick-up trucks that drive down the mountain like crazy. The road is not as steep as I expected from the restrictions but I can understand that a 125ccm with two people and luggage could get in trouble when not handled correctly so they don’t let foreigners into the park with that. But up at the campground there were a lot of motorcycles of all sizes and locals were coming up with 125ccms but I think they had manual clutches.
The trail to the top of the mountain is well marked and easy to follow without a guide. There are also a few other hikes on the trail so it’s hard to get lost.
We didn’t sleep at the campground but for western standards it’s seemed on the lower end. Also the water wasn’t working when we tried to use the toilets but maybe they turn it off during the day…
On our way back we went to the hot springs. They were nice, the park is enjoyable but I wouldn’t pay the entrance fee just for the hot springs. For visiting the mountain top, it is an acceptable price and the hot springs a nice add-on.

我们没有在营地过夜，但以西方的标准来看，营地条件似乎比较简陋。而且，我们想用厕所的时候发现没有水，也许他们白天会把水关掉……
回程途中，我们去了温泉。温泉很不错，公园也挺好玩的，但我不会仅仅为了泡温泉就支付门票。如果只是为了登顶，门票价格还算合理，温泉只是个不错的附加项目。
