点评：My wife and I booked our entire honeymoon stay with RTS and did the 8-day Cheptegei hike with them in Jan 2026 and it was a spectacular experience.
Trip organizing: The communication with RTS via e-mail was superb when helping to organize our trip. Remmy at RTS was very responsive - always responding within 24 hours to inquiries and even fielded a WhatsApp call from Canada when I had a wire-transfer issue. We were welcomed at our hotel when we arrived in Entebbe on New Years Day and everything about our trip went off without a hitch. Our guide, Robert was excellent and RTS worked with us to build the itinerary that matched what we wanted. Very glad we booked with RTS.
The trek: WOW. Simply incredible. Everything about the hike exceeded expectations. Our guides were very professional, knowledgeable about the flora/fauna/terrain and made a challenging hike a little easier. The food was excellent, and we were well fed. The scenery was stunning and In 8 days we saw maybe 4 other hikers outside of our group of three, which sounds very different from the experience of Killi or Mt Kenya. It someone was going to hike Patagonia or this I would say Mt Stanley 100%. We were told that the Cheptegei was non-technical, but it did involve a pretty easy hike across the Mt Stanley glacier in crampons, which was an amazing opportunity to do before it disappears. The hike was very challenging but so rewarding. Thanks, RTS for a magical honeymoon
