Monteverde Wildlife Refuge的点评
点评：We went for a private night tour experience and had Jason as our guide. At the start there were tons of people for the 8pm tour, but as the guides arrived they each dispersed with their people and there were fewer people around tgroughout the 2 hour tour. We saw a sleeping sloth from a distance, some scorpions, a side-striped palm viper (and later a baby one), the red eyed tree frog (endemic to Monteverde specifically), several birds sleeping including the rainbow billed toucan, and (separately) stick and moss insects amongst others. Jason was great - very knowledgeable and he helped us capture many of the animals on our iPhone either directly or through his scope.
Only reason this is 4 stars rather than 5 is that the driver (provided by the facility) was a somewhat reckless (fast and on his phone while driving) and it was mobbed at the beginning - but overall this was a win in our books
