Modified Flight Due to Weather, but a Nice Experience Just the Same

点评：I was contacted the morning of my booking and informed that due to weather, I would need to reschedule. Because I was leaving Cape Town the next day, I had to reschedule for an earlier flight.
They certainly can’t control the weather, and I was glad I could still take a flight.
With the clouds rolling over Table Mountain and covering most of Cape Town, it was of course far different than the pictures I saw. It was a bit surreal and very cool just the same.
I was told I would be refunded the difference of what I booked, and the actual experience I had. After a few days of not seeing the promised partial refund, I contacted TripAdvisor and it was sorted.
From my hotel pickup by Storm, who was super friendly and professional, to the check-in and flight experience, it was a fantastic experience. Storm drove me back to my hotel afterwards, to wrap up my lovely morning.
In spite of weather, it was a rush.
